Beautifully recently renovated cottage boasting a private entrance, this villa comes with 1 living room, 2 separate bedrooms and 1 modern bathroom which features an electronic bath and shower control meaning no taps! 1 modern kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen has a gas stovetop, fridge freezer, double oven, washing machine, microwave oven, kettle & toaster with a lovely goodie bowl with coffees, teas & various infusions for guests to enjoy.
This cottage also features and a flat-screen TV with streaming services. The cottage has 1 kings size bed in 1 bedroom and 2 singles in the other bedroom.
A travel cot and bedding available upon request when booking.

Guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking up to 3 cars in the fully gated front garden and driveways.

Located in the beautiful City of Dunfermline, the recently renovated Linburn Cottage Dunfermline near Edinburgh provides accommodation guests can benefit from a terrace with garden views a patio and a picnic area. There is an outdoor chimnea for cosy nights in front of a fire.

The villa is equipped with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, bed linen, towels, a 46″ smart flat-screen TV with streaming services, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace with garden views.
Guests can take in the ambience of the surroundings from an outdoor dining area or keep themselves warm by the wood burning fireplace on colder days. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and is protected by 24/7 CCTV security.

Dunfermline Abbey has major historic connections with King Robert The Bruce.

The Abbey, located in the city centre and is right next to Pittencreif Park, locally known as The Glen. Funded by Andrew Carnegie, another historical figure of the City.

A gorgeous space to walk deep into or take the children to the two huge amazing play parks. One for toddlers, the other for the older ones with plenty to keep them running and playing for hours.

The Glen is also home to the resident peacocks and hens. A great place to visit and barely a 10 minute drive from Linburn Road…or indeed walk a few minutes to take one of the many busses that pass on Halbeath Road straight into city centre.

Dunfermline really is the ideal hub for visiting countless of amazing places to visit during your stay.

We are so lucky to be an 8 minute walk from the Queen Margaret Train Station. This takes you directly to Edinburgh Waverly Train Station, the heart of Edinburgh in around 35 minutes.

You can also get off at Haymarket Train Station for connection train to Glasgow city centre.

Dunfermline City is steeped in history with Dunfermline Abbey next to the wonderful Pittencreiff Park locally known as The Glen which is acres of beautiful parkland in City centre with lovely gardens, glasshouse and children’s play parks for all ages. A lovely walk around exploring and will meet the local Peafowl who have lived in the park for many years.

Within short driving Distance to over 40 Golf Courses including The Old Course St Andrews, The famous Fife Coastal Path Routes for walkers and cyclists of all levels is 177 miles/188km miles long. The beautiful East Neuk of Fife is very much worth a visit also.

Edinburgh Zoo is 26 km from the cottage, while Murrayfield Stadium is 28 km away. Edinburgh Airport is 20 km from the property, a 20 minute drive.

We are a great location for visiting the wonderful Glencoe region with it’s world famous spectacular mountain ranges and access to the Scottish Highlands.
